“Live From Cain’s” Welcomes Music Headliner for Pilot Radio Show

Bonnie Bishop

“Live From Cain’s” is excited to announce Bonnie Bishop as headline music performer for its pilot radio show, to be recorded in front of a live audience Wednesday, May 29th at 7:30pm at historic Cain’s Ballroom in Tulsa.

Like the title of her 2016 Dave Cobb-produced release, Ain’t Who I Was, Bonnie Bishop has evolved after six albums and more than a decade on the road. Her gorgeous, soulful vocals and skilled songwriting have grown to embrace a broader sound that incorporates not only her country roots, but also blues, jazz and R&B. Ain’t Who I Was has garnered praise from The New York Times, The Wasington Post, The Wall Street Journal, Billboard, Rolling Stone and more.

Grammy-award winning Bonnie Raiit ha recognized Bonnie Bishop’s talent, covering two of her songs, including “Not Cause I Wanted To,” which was a hit single for Raitt on her critically acclaimed comeback album Slipstream. Bishop’s song, “The Best Songs Come From Broken Hearts” was featured on the hit TV show “Nashville.”

Bonnie Bishop is currently working with producer Steve Jordan on her next album, The Walk.
